        The Rolling Stones have unveiled their first album of new music since 2005. This has my curiosity up! As a young guitarist, one of the first songs I learned on my own was "Jumpin' Jack Flash." Others were "Brown Sugar" and "Midnight Rambler." Since then, I've always taken an interest in new music from The Stones, looking for little nuances and changes in direction they take in their creations. The title of their new album, Hackney Diamonds, and the first release from it, called "Angry," seem to have more of an English tilt to them than has been typical. I'm looking forward to listening to the full album when it becomes available in October!

    I liked this New York Times piece so much I watched it several times. It's about the daily routine of a bagel maker in NYC. Celestino García starts his day at 2:30 a.m., and he makes bagels, by hand, some 3,000 a day, every day. His pride, skills, work ethic and love for his family shine throughout this story:
